Is the free plan actually free?

Yes. No credit card required, and it seats your whole team, not just the people who log billable hours.

What do we get if we outgrow Free?

Pro. It lifts the caps on clients, projects, boards and storage, adds approvals and financial visibility, and unlocks client access without billing them as seats.

Does the desktop tracker take screenshots?

Only on Pro. It pairs the timer with activity and screenshot capture, kept for 90 days, and every screenshot counts toward your storage. Free has the web timer and My Timesheet, but no desktop tracker.

Can a client see our internal notes or rates?

Not unless you choose to show them. Financial visibility is set per person, and every note has its own audience.

What happens when we hit Free’s clip or storage limits?

Free includes 10 video clips for the life of the org (five minutes each) and 100 MB of shared storage for files and screenshots. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited clips and about 10 GB pooled per user.

Can we export our time, expense and mileage data?

Free covers the last 31 days, with time reports exportable as a PDF summary. Pro adds full history, a weekly pivot and CSV export across time, expenses and mileage.

Is Pro billed per user?

Yes, flat per seat with no usage fees. It’s $5 per user a month, or $3 per user a month billed annually.
